Liverpool Gets School For Entrepreneurs September 28
A new social enterprise school has been set up in Liverpool and aims to tap into the reservoirs of business talent held within the city.
The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) adds to a network of similar schools around the country and will work with local agencies to provide a dynamic boost to local industry hopefuls.
Mike Taylor, chief executive of the local Business Liverpool group, said: “The School for Social Entrepreneurs’ network of local schools and its national fellowship is delivering social benefit and spreading well-being throughout the country. We’re very pleased that it has chosen Liverpool as its next partner community.
“We believe that there is a wealth of talent and goodwill lying untapped in Liverpool, which social entrepreneurship can unlock for the benefit of all.”
The school aims to provide access to mentoring and training for aspiring businesspeople, providing them with the tools and ideas with which to set up social businesses of their own.
